Time moves on so fast in the city, with careers and children both sisters could not believe how quickly their lives past them by. From being young woman new to the city to mothers, wives and career women. Nothing quite went as they planned, and nothing has been smooth but they have beautiful children to carry on their legacies. Worrying about becoming older, Violet got into her art trying to preserve her family including her husband. While painting, Don playing chess, Violet rekindled her feelings for her husband. Wanting to work on their marriage.

Giving him a second chance, Violet went out for dinner with Don to try and see if their marriage could be repaired. Even with awkward moments during the dinner, they found that small spark that drew them both together. Enjoying their food and conversation they had a great time, but not enough for Violet to truly forgive and let Don back into her bed.

Believing he can fix his marriage Don invited Bella over to break off the relationship he had created with her. Knowing that he couldn't look himself in the mirror if he didn't try to make it work with Violet. Walking into his home, Don couldn't resist but having one last moment of passion with her. Talking out the whole situation, Bella and Don decided they had to break it off and go their separate ways. Although Bella looked like she had something she wanted to tell Don, she left knowing she may never see him again.

Surrounded by her children, Regina is truly happy. But she wants to move away to the suburbs just out of the city. Not wanting to be too far from her sister but far enough from the influences of the city. With no room for their new child and her husband out all night drinking Regina wants to give her family a better chance at life. But with money problems she doesn't know if they will manage to finally leave the city.
