Giavanni Storyline

Catch up:

A new girl has come to the city, moving from the east Lilith Giavanni. Niece to Regina and Violet and one of the last remaining Giavanni family members that still exist. Beautiful and seductive Lilith storms into her aunts home telling her that she is staying for a couple of weeks. Getting over the brief shock of seeing another family member, Violet rejoices in at her arrival. Allowing the young woman into her home Violet begins to feel a connection to her roots again, loving the family vibe of her home. Late at night everyone goes to bed after the excitement of a new house memeber, leaving Don and Lilith to get to know one another. Unable to resist her charms and beauty she says all the right words to get Don into bed. Lilith uncaring spends the next day on the prowl for another man, hoping to find a sugar daddy to take care of her.

Guilt ridden Don wants to make sure Lilith won't tell his wife, really wanting his marriage to work. Trying to avoid the new addition to their home he keeps himself away from everyone trying to figure out what he really wants to do. Throughout his life he hasn't ever had to commit to one person, one job or one place. But now he has found someone he truly loves and finds himself constantly trying to sabotage himself and his relationships.

Waking up in the middle of the night due to a party happening next door, Don and Lilith are alone in the kitchen. Lilith asks Don to join her in bed, but still trying to work out what he wants Don declines telling her he wants to "fix his marriage". Angered Lilith tells him that if he doesn't keep sleeping with her she will tell Violet everything that has happened. Unaware behind them Violet leaves her room woken up by the party next door, witnessing Don cheating on her again with her own niece. Bottling her anger as much as she can, Violet goes back to bed ignoring what she saw, for now.

Across town Regina and her family are working hard to save money to move out of the city. Regina does everything she can to keep her family happy, unable to even go see her sister and her niece who just arrived in town. Happy to find out her daughter, Bailey is doing well in school she knows that she is doing a good job at being a mother. But worried that she can't give her husband the attention she knows that he needs.

Watching his wife leave for work and his daughter go to school Akira is left with little Georgio for the day. Trying to teach him words, he imagines what his son will be like when he will be older. Imagining his son surrounded by his own children and happy.

Slowly darker thoughts creep into the old mans mind, Akira worries about his wife leaving him for a younger man and his children never talking to him again. Envisioning himself sitting in the apartment completely alone. Instantly knowing he needs a drink Akira grabs his son and takes him out to the bar. Drinking away, Akira forgets about his son, leaving Georgio to his own devices travelling around the bar surrounded by drunken strangers. But Georgio is unaware playing with his duckie, Mr.Doodles.

Getting home from school Bailey notices her father wobbling as he gets home with her brother, just after her. However too excited about the fact it was her birthday Bailey ignores her Dad and waits for her Mother to come home with her birthday cake. Happy to finally be a teen Bailey lost herself in thought about all the things she can do now, just like her cousin Rachel. Looking in the mirror she felt a tinge of jealously wishing she looked as pretty as her older cousin.
